Exclusive Privacy — One Group Per 6-Night Window
Due to community guidelines, only one guest group may occupy the home within any 6-night period. This ensures complete privacy with no back-to-back turnovers or shared calendar weeks. Lake Levels
Lake levels are seasonal and vary. This will affect water depth at the dock, especially when the lake is not at full levels. Lake Nottely is a TVA-managed reservoir, and water levels rise in spring and stay near full pool in summer, then gradually lower in fall and winter (typically up to 10–20 ft seasonally). Summer offers the highest water for swimming and boating, while off-season levels reveal more shoreline and quieter lake views, with less access to the water.
Getting Around
A private vehicle is best for traveling in the North Georgia Mountains. If you need referrals for local taxis or one of the several wine tasting transportation options, please let us know.
The roads are paved all the way to the cabin. The driveway is paved and plenty of parking is available parking is available. The garage is not available for parking, but an EV charger is located there for guest use.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
If you are visiting during the winter months and the forecast calls for snow/ice, a 4WD or AWD vehicle is suggested to more easily travel the roads throughout our community and to our cabin.
The property is regularly sprayed for bugs, but please note that you're visiting the forest, and our bug friends live in and around the river and forest. You'll likely see a friend or two if you leave the doors or windows open.
Your total reservation fee for this home includes a per-booking damage waiver fee, including any applicable taxes. The damage waiver ensures coverage for any accidental damage caused to the home or its contents, including appliances and furnishings, up to a maximum of $1,500. Damage due to smoking and pets is excluded. To benefit from this coverage, you must report the incident to the host before you check out.

HOUSE RULES
-No smoking is allowed (including vaping) anywhere on the property. If you smoke inside the home you will be charged $500. You will be charged an increase in cleaning fee, and you will be charged for any damages
-Person booking and checking in must be at least 25 years old to reserve and must occupy the rental property throughout the whole stay.
-No parties or events are allowed. We are located in a residential community and, although this is a vacation destination, this area is predominantly families and nature-loving groups. This is doubtless part of its appeal to you too! Between the hours of 10 pm and 8 am, noise should be kept to a minimum.
-Maximum occupancy of 14 people. Off-site visitors are not permitted without prior permission and are subject to a $100 fee per extra guest.
-No pets allowed. We love our furries as much as you, but no pets are allowed due to allergies. If you sneak in a pet of any kind you will be charged an additional $250 and you will be asked to leave.
-Indoor fireplaces cannot be used between April 1 and September 30. Use of the fireplace during this time will result in a $250 fine. Be sure the flue is open. Please extinguish the fire and close the doors before leaving the home or going to bed. NEVER LEAVE A FIRE UNATTENDED WHEN LEAVING THE HOME OR GOING TO BED.
-We follow our stated cancellation policies under all circumstances. We highly recommended guests purchase travel insurance to cover weather-related issues (tropical storms, hurricanes, etc.) and illnesses that may arise and interrupt travel.
-PLEASE do not place loose garbage in the outdoor garbage cans. Our garbage service will not collect our garbage unless it is bagged and tied off. Please ensure it is properly bagged (extra bags are located under the kitchen sink), tied off, and secured to keep our wildlife from gaining access.

Use only the EV charger provided — never plug into house outlets, cords, or adapters.
Charge only while you're on-site. Please don't leave your car charging unattended overnight or when you're away.

If something doesn't look right (heat, sparks, damage), stop charging and let us know right away.
Charging is at your own risk, and fees may apply for misuse or excessive energy use.
