Positive: Good location for hiking up to Bromo on your own. Simple accommodation, but it has everything you need. A spacious and bright room, a hot shower, and a warm blanket. For breakfast you get toast with an egg and coffee or tea - if you do not like eggs, well, that is the option. Several warungs are within walking distance. The biggest advantage is Mr. Sony, who is very friendly and helps with anything you need. The only real downside is the sink draining directly onto the bathroom floor, which keeps it constantly wet. It sounds fine until you remember the toilet is in the same bathroom, so bringing your own slippers is definitely a good idea. A small travel hack: spit your used toothpaste directly into the toilet. :-D The bed and mattress are a bit worn out, and you can feel it in your back. But overall, it is a place I can recommend.
