Mechanicsville residents have one of the best views of Atlanta's State Capital building, and Downtown Atlanta. With the Connector and I-20 flanking the area and Garnett Station less than a mile’s walk, most of the city is 10 to 20 minutes away.
Enjoy the diverse food scene with restaurants like Slutty Vegan, Tom Dick, & Hank, and No Mas Cantina, just to name a few. Theres a great retail area with BBQ (Wood chapel Barbeque), a new york pizza restaurant (Juniors Pizza), a brewery, and Ice Cream (Big Softie)! Its also located just miles away from the Atlanta Zoo!
