Summary: I have found VRBO reviews/ratings to be useful yet skewed for good or for bad depending upon widely-varying expectations and "wants" of the reviewers. We only stay in rentals that allow a dog. But we also highly value cleanliness, and we have not always found rentals that "check both of those boxes for us." This rental DID. The location of this rental has a very high value for us as well, but the location might not appeal to others. We value decent WiFi and a nice smart TV. This rental has both. Overall, we found it to be a nice little cottage, and because it provided all of the things that are most important to us, we give it 5 stars. For a complete review, I must say the rental does have some weaknesses that are not a big deal for us but may be for others. My wife and I and our two youngest adult kids stayed in the rental. It was big enough for us and we could work around having only one bathroom. I don't feel that the living room is big enough for more than 4 or 5 adults to comfortably spend very much time and could use better lighting. The dining room table also only seats 4. You could manage with more people, but I wouldn't want to do it. The cottage is pretty basic in many ways (fit, finish, quality, etc.) which doesn't bother folks like us. We cook most or all of our meals when we stay at a place like this, and the kitchen was suitable, but some of the cookware could use upgrading. Again, this cottage checked the most important boxes for us, and we would like to return
