THE SPACE
The entire guesthouse is self-contained and private, in the same fenced-in 1/2 acre compound area as the main house in which we live. It is adjacent to the pool, with instant tankless hot water heater and central air conditioning and heating.
The upstairs large open space contains:
- Primary sleeping area, featuring olympic queen luxury "American Leather Comfort Sleeper" sofa (search and read the reviews - it's definitely not the sofa bed you had to sleep on at grandma's house), with Sferra brand Egyptian cotton percale bedding
- Custom concrete bar/kitchenette area, featuring a stainless steel bar fridge and ice maker, glasses and dishes, microwave and Keurig coffee maker (including supplies)
- Black walnut custom bar counter with bar seating for three
- See-through double-sided stone fireplace (gas) for cozy nights, winter or summer
- 55 inch high def streaming television
- Dedicated workspace nook with desk and chair
- DVD player and movie library
- Relaxing reading area (with library) near fireplace, with comfy chaise lounge
- Many board and other games for family fun hidden away in the bench seats that line each side
- Unobstructed views of the pool just outside
The guesthouse space also includes:
- A separate and private bedroom that sleeps one to three people, with twin bunk beds and a trundle bed; comfortable for both adults and children
- Full bathroom includes bright sunlit resort-like shower with pebble stone shower floor, and heated tile floor throughout
While the Guesthouse will sleep 5 guests (one queen in the living room and 3 singles in the bedroom), please note that it's better designed for 4 guests. Please enquire if you have 5 guests, especially 5 adults.
