Summary: I received an email that stated check out time ends at anytime. I received a phone call stating if I wasn’t there shortly they would cancel my reservation. I showed up 20 mins later. There was no mention of a cash deposit on arrival. They charged my card before I arrived then charged the rest when I did arrive which was okay i guess. After I paid the total for the room reservation that the website stated they told me I needed to pay $50 for a cash deposit to be able to stay there. Scared I wouldn’t get my full amount we accepted and gave the receptionist $60 and she proceeded to ask if we had change. We didn’t have any smaller bills. She didn’t have any change for the random deposit they were charging so we had to leave $60 with them. They wouldn’t give us a receipt until the end of our stay that stated they took $60 in cash. We won’t be staying at anymore Days Inn from now on.
