Located near the beautiful Ocean View Beach in Norfolk, VA, the Dune Cottage Tide Suite is a professionally managed, freshly renovated and stylishly furnished 2-bed/2-bath vacation rental condo.
Guests enjoy use of the private beach access path that leads straight to Ocean View Beach, just steps from the condo. There is no direct view of the ocean from inside the condo.

The Space:
This suite sleeps four guests and has two bedrooms, each with queen memory foam mattresses, full bedding, and ample storage with nightstands, dressers and full closets in each bedroom..
The living room has ample space for relaxation and has a 50” Smart Tv with cable and high-speed wifi.
There are two fully equipped bathrooms with shampoo, conditioner, and soap, and a fully equipped kitchen with all utensils, appliances, and dinnerware needed for cooking during your stay.
All linens/bedding, including 4 sets of bath towels, are provided. Four beach towels and four beach chairs are provided. No beach umbrella or beach toys are provided.
This unit is pet friendly. We allow up to 2 house trained dogs or cats and require:
-Pets not be allowed on the beds or furniture
-When pets are left alone, ideally, they are left in crates. Otherwise, the doors to the bedroom and bathroom should be left shut.
Guest Access:
Access is by private door with door code. There is no ramp or elevator in this building.
Guests will have the entire suite to themselves. All suites / units are fully separate with dedicated entrances.
Guests will have use of the private beach access just steps from the apartment.
The Neighborhood:
This property is central to all local Ocean View restaurants.
Getting Around:
Parking - Guests are given one parking spot in the parking lot (unmarked). There are additional overflow spots available first-come-first-serve at the front of the building under the Dune Cottage Sign. There is no street parking available.
Other Things to Note:
House rules:
• Absolutely no smoking in or near the building. Any smoking must be outdoors at least 25 ft from the building. Guests will be fined if smoking policy is violated.
• No parties or events (gatherings over max occupancy of 4 will be shut down immediately unless previously approved by host)
• Check-in is anytime after 4PM
• Up to 2 house trained dogs or cats are allowed in unit. Pets are not allowed on/in beds. When left alone in unit, please crate. If no crate, shut all bedroom and bathroom doors.
• Please clean up after your pets when outdoors. Utilize the pet waste station to properly dispose of any pet waste.
• No fires or fire pits allowed on the beach.
• No fireworks allowed on the beach. Use of fireworks will result in a breach of house rules as many house fires have been started in the area due to fireworks.
• Please stay off of the rocks on the beach, as they become slippery and can be quite dangerous.
• Glitter of any kind is not allowed in the unit. Any sign of glitter throughout the unit will result in an immediate $100 cleaning remediation fee.

- Leave AC on in summer and heat on in winter
