I have loved having the hundreds of guests for the 13 years I've hosted via another site and decided to open up to VRBO. Housing availability is always a challenge these days, so I hope this listing brings an option for you. All utilities are included.
The vibe of this home is positive, with environmentally conscious values, who welcomes folks from all walks of life. I value cleanliness, consideration and quiet. Those who are like-minded have the best experiences staying here, especially with long term stays.
Your stay begins with remote entry through the private main gate, then directly into your parking space within the garage.
Your quarters are conveniently just inside the entrance from the garage, a few steps through the laundryroom/kitchenette. The kitchenette is used only by you and on very rare occassions by your host - me.
The kitchenette offers a cooking hot plate, microwave, toaster oven, coffe maker, along with pots, pans and all the needed utencils.
A full size refrigerator/freezer is available in the kitchenette station, right off the entrance into your private bath/bedroom. All so convenient.
Washer and dryer is also within the same are as the kitchenette, and used by myself and whatever guest may be in the separate studio quarters on the property.
A reverse osmosis water purifying system will provide you with ample healthy, clean, pure water for your day's activities. I am happy to fill large containers for you to take you through the week.
The crowning jewel of this place is the unmatched view. Delivery folk exclaim this is the best view of the valley. No kidding. I've created a little high desert Eden here with a private back yard, lush with grass, flowering bushes and comfy patio furniture. I encourage my guests to sit and enjoy the breathtaking views and serenity.
You will also find this home likely one of the most quiet and peaceful places you've ever been.
Because interaction is such a personal and moment by moment choice, each guest decides what feels good. Let me know what you desire, I'll do my very best to accommodate.
A bit of insight into your host - I do tend to be on the quieter, more introspective side. But I'm always happy to interact with fine guests. :)
My home is my sanctuary and I value a positive atmosphere.
As a decades long environmentalist, I have a very specific recycling program at my home, and I do ask guests to help do the right thing for our ailing planet.
It's not an absolute requirement. Anyone who doesn't feel comfortable doing so can bag up their trash and I'll do the sorting myself.
Because this is a household that only consumes plant - based foods, any animal products are dealt with separately for disposal.
