Our lake house oasis is located at the very end of a private dirt road. It is nestled in the woods with a wonderfully sunny lawn that meets the beach with w sandy place to swim. There are many seating areas to soak in the tranquility and to view the most dazzlingly colorful sunsets. Three kayaks are available to explore the crystal clear Forest Lake. There is a lush lawn on which to play cornhole and ladderball (provided), or just to have a lakeside picnic. Located 20 minutes from Portland Jetport (PWM). We offer discounts for longer stays. Many activities such as hiking, apple picking in the autumn, shopping and dining in Portland’s Old Port, famous Portland Headlight and LL Bean’s flagship store are all close by. If you want to stay close to home our new fire pit is situated beachside. A newly built stone patio is also located lakeside complete with Adirondack chairs and picnic tables for outdoor dining . Also, there’s a quaint sunset overlook that is located next to the water with two Adirondack chairs and a canopy style umbrella. Outdoor landscape lighting allows our guests to enjoy the property even after sunset.
