Chaplin River Cottage is a circa 1840 dry goods store converted to a stylishly decorated cottage in the historic town of Perryville, KY. With riverside views and a large deck under matured trees it is the ideal place to stay for your Bourbon trail excursion, a visit to Centre College in Danville, attend a local wedding or to visit the many historic attractions in the surrounding area. This quaint cottage, located in downtown on the scenic US Highway 68 and historic Merchants' Row along the Chaplin River has 2 bedrooms, which are upstairs and 1 bathroom downstairs. The two bedrooms have king beds . The stairs to the bedrooms are steep .
The kitchen is furnished with high end appliances and all necessary utensils to prepare gourmet meals. We provide coffee, tea, snacks and some cooking essentials for your use in the kitchen. We also provide a water kettle, coffee maker and toaster.
The spacious living room with a smart TV provides several streaming TV services and high speed WiFi. The shady back deck under large matured trees has a comfortable two-seater, a table for six and a gas grill. It will be your favorite place to relax and enjoy views of the river and of Historic Elmwood Academy across the river.
We supply a starter pack for essentials like toilet paper, trash bags and so on. If you stay longer than 2 days, you have to purchase additional supplies.
On street parking is available across from the cottage.
