Positive: Beautiful property in a great location

Negative: The front desk at check-in was not easy. They first downgraded my room without informing me, and tried to give me room keys to a standard room when I paid for a king oasis room. The front desk staff said she had no idea what I was talking about and had to get the manager who was finally able to grant me the room I paid for. The staff then told me to insert my credit card for “incidentals only”. I later saw on my statement that they double charged my card for the entire room cost again. When I went back to the front desk to inform them that I had already paid the entire balance to Booking.com, they blamed Booking.com for the mistake. They told me they would fix the double charge, but 2 days later I still see it pending on my credit card statement. Not the stress free experience I would have expected.
