Walk to the beach down the street, hike the trails, snow shoe in Castle in Clouds, or visit one of ski resorts in the area. The house can comfortably sleep 5 with 2 queen beds and 1 twin bed. There are 2 full baths, beautiful covered porch and a patio, and a well stocked kitchen. Access to Suissevale amenities: 2 beaches, tennis courts, playgrounds.
Set in the lake community of Suissevale, the house is a short walk to States Landing beach and boat launch and about a mile from Suissevale beach. Castle in the Clouds mansion and hiking / snowshoeing trails are an 8 minute drive. The house is located within 45-60 minutes from several ski resorts.
The open-concept floor plan has 3 bedrooms including master suite with a bathroom. There is another bathroom in the hallway for the other 2 bedrooms. The kitchen is well stocked with essentials including a drip coffee maker, toaster, microwave, and a blender. Living room has a SmartTV if you want to use your streaming services. Washer and dryer located in the basement. Enjoy covered porch, patio and a fire pit in the yard. Patio furniture and grill available in the warmer months.
We provide initial supplies of paper products for your stay, if you run out, you can get extras at Skelleys or Dollar General.
Summer rules: Suissevale association doesn't allow renters at the Suissevale beach on Saturdays (changeover day). July-August are preferably weekly rentals due to Suissevale beach pass rules. Please contact me for other arrangements, for stays shorter than 6 days in summer season, I won't be able to provide a Suissevale beach pass.
There is a convenience store a 5 minute drive and a larger grocery store in Center Harbor (15 min) and Meredith (25 min) away.
You can bring your boats or paddle boards and store them under the patio for your stay. Boat launch is about 5 minute walk from the house.
We don't wear outdoor shoes in the house, and while we can't enforce the no-shoe policy, we'd appreciate if you leave the shoes at the door. For your convenience, we are providing disposable slippers.
Thermostat is locked at 59-75 in the winter, 69-82 in the summer. If you need a different temperature, please send me a message.
