The "Hygge Haus" is a Scandinavian inspired 2 bed (+ loft), 2 bath A-frame located within the Innsbrook Resort. This updated 40 year old chalet sits on a 3 acre wooded lot and offers an abundance of privacy and wildlife to enjoy. Onsite amenities include a large private deck, gas fire pit, Blackstone griddle, large grill and smoker, lighted fire pit area, hammock, horseshoe pit, and an indoor fireplace. The Indoor Space-
This rustic modern A-frame is a cozy space for one or two families, sleeping up to 7 people. There's a king bed in the downstairs bedroom, a queen bed in the upstairs bedroom, and a twin over full-size bunk bed in the upstairs loft. Adults are not allowed on the top (twin) bunk bed.
The main level and second floor loft each have a full bath with a shower. Bath towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hair dryer provided.
The kitchen is fully equipped with cookware, dishes, glassware, silverware, oven/stove, microwave, toaster, waffle maker, blender, Tupperware and basic oils and spices. Paper towels, dish soap and toilet paper provided. Guests can also enjoy coffee, cappuccinos and lattes with the Keurig K-Cafe machine (some coffee pods and a variety of teas provided).
The chalet offers a variety of board games and books, a record player (with a diverse array of albums), a large television, a telescope, and a large deck for outdoor dining and entertaining, including a gas fire pit, Blackstone griddle, large grill and smoker and conversational seating. For those working remotely, the chalet also offers WiFi and a small desk to help you stay connected and productive.
Speaking of the outdoors...we love enjoying the sights and sounds of nature, but it's always nice when we can experience it without the insects and mosquitoes! The areas directly around the chalet are treated regularly for mosquitoes, spiders, insects, rodents and snakes. While we can't guarantee a bug/snake-free stay, we do our part to minimize unwanted insects and critters.
We do not have a washer/dryer, garbage disposal or dishwasher. Although these amenities are not present, we do provide a variety of disposable products for your use.
ASPEN LAKE (Geneva Beach) is a two minute drive.
