There is a resident pod of grey whales which makes it's home off Depoe Bay from March through December. Visitors from everywhere come to whale watch either from the Whale Watch Center, a charter boat trip, or the many shore observation spots.
Spouting Horn Three is a one bedroom apartment with a comfy King bed and separate living/dining area. Sit on the sofa, which can be made into a sleeper, and watch the ocean and the wonderful Depoe Bay views. The full kitchen has textured quartz counter tops, stainless steel appliances including a dishwasher, full size gas range, microwave and refrigerator. Depoe Bay has the smallest natural navigable harbor in the world consisting of six square acres. A huge sea wall runs the length of the downtown area which enables visitors to shop and dine always within view of the ocean. The waves run beneath lava beds and build pressure to spout water as high as 60 feet in the air. These are known as spouting horns and are particularly dramatic at times of high tide. You won't want to miss watching the extraordinary coast guard training missions in the large surf just off the sea wall. There is plenty to enjoy all within walking distance. You can stay busy for days exploring up and down the coast from this convenient location!
