The Chalet is within a 5 minute walk to the West branch of the AuSable River via a DEC Trail, State land for Hiking/cross country skiing/mountain biking/etc. on miles of undulating trails are possible within 15 to 20 minutes from the property. The setting is peaceful with abundant wildlife and nature and void of highway traffic. There is a large grass yard, a patio area with a canopy during the summer and a 4 burner gas grill and fire pit for the cool nights. This vacation home consists of 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms - one with a soaker tub/shower combination and the other with a shower, a living room with a large bar connecting to the kitchen, a separate dining area open to the kitchen, a 50" flat screen TV and a piano. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, oven/stove, a full size refrigerator, a coffee machine, blender and toaster. Lake Placid is about 20 miles from property, where as Whiteface Mountain is about 10 miles away. Acess to the High Peaks trail system is within 20 minutes from the Chalet.
