The Dome Retreat is more than just accommodations; it's a conscious choice to rediscover what truly matters – the connection with your partner and the beauty of the natural world. Every detail has been thoughtfully handcrafted to ensure an unforgettable and luxury experience. Large, panoramic windows, a spacious deck, and outdoor shower blend the boundaries of indoor comfort and outdoor splendor.
The allure of the Dome Retreat lies in its simplicity. The unassuming yet elegant design allows the natural surroundings to take center stage. Sitting on an elevated 1,000 sq ft deck, you’ll have 450 sq ft to enjoy while inside the structure. You’ll have everything you need for your glamping experience: a comfy king size bed with luxury bedding, heat/AC, kitchenette, Nespresso Coffee, half bathroom, games, books, and more. One campfire kit provided free of charge per night, includes one bundle of wood per night, fire starter, and smores supplies.
Outdoors you’ll find a grill, stone fire pit, picnic table, and (our fav) the private oak tree outdoor shower, for a truly unique experience!
Venture beyond the Dome, and you'll discover walking trails that wind through the property, inviting you to explore the untouched wilderness. Whether you choose to wander hand in hand, pausing to admire the flora and fauna, or simply sit in quiet contemplation by the pond, 7 Ranch offers an oasis of calm where you can savor the simple joys of being together.
In the spring of 2024, our newly build 2.5 acre pond will fill up and we will be able to kayak, swim or fish on site!
You will enjoy total privacy, the closest structure to you will be at least 300 feet away. You'll be provided with a hiking trail map upon check in, so bring good boots or sneakers you may not mind getting dirty.
7 Ranch is gated, upon check in you will receive codes to the main gate and the dome.
On our property you may encounter deer, wild pigs, armadillos, racoons, birds, skunks, bobcats, coyotes, snakes, and more! We love our wildlife but please be cautious and keep your distance as some of these animals can be dangerous. Keep an eye out, watch your step and enjoy the show! No hunting is allowed.
Since you’re glamping, it's worth mentioning that you might come across bugs during your stay. While the dome is designed to keep you snug, we are outdoors so some curious spiders or flying insects are bound to find their way into the dome from time to time. Try to keep your shrieks at a reasonable volume should you encounter one.
We adore children and pets, but for the moment we are not equipped to handle either. We hope one day to expand our experiences to suit the unique needs of the whole family!
