The cottage sits on a very large lot, pasture on two sides, the entire front is VIEW. All new luxury vinyl flooring throughout. Small but well appointed bedrooms. New bedding. New bathroom. Immaculately clean. The River Shanty is full of charm.You will have great space to enjoy.
The back of the house sits just under the ancient canyon shelf that shows the remnants of the first road through,from the horse and buggy days. The front of the cottage takes in the expanse of the Mighty Snake River and miles of paved bike/walking path that takes you into Clarkston and over the bridges to the Idaho side. You are nearby boat launch access and close where all river charters depart and return. A small beach is just across the street for you to enjoy. You are at the Gateway to Hells canyon, one of the worlds most amazing places. A jet boat trip up, is a lifetime experience. Asotin has one restaurant that features American and German food. Nearby Clarkston and Lewiston are host to many different restaurants. The small town of Asotin is a 5 minute walk away. Parking is free there. The town has two parks, one with playground equipment next to a stream, both minutes away from the River Shanty. The school is the hub of town. The courthouse and Post Office are seconds away.
