The driveway is quite narrow and when a car is parked there people cannot get in and out easily, and there may be guests staying in the upper unit.
This is an older cottage and when you are in the downstairs unit you will hear people walking (or running, if there are little ones, which there often are) above you. There is rarely any other noise between the two units.
