This beautiful waterfront home with direct access to the Wye River is truly a hidden gem. You are surrounded by giant white oaks, Holly and Magnolia trees giving you a sense of total privacy. While your view from the back deck is a spectacular, expansive vision of the legendary Wye River known for it's enormous blue crabs. The Wye also offers many different species of fish depending on the time of year. Whether Kayaking, or just relaxing of the deck Wye Escape offers something for everyone.
The home originally built in 1967 is a beautiful blend of the old and new. Remodeled in 1987 and again in 2019 you'll find the perfect mix of the original and the up to date. The kitchen and dry bar are custom solid wood cabinetry, while the fireplace mantel and bookshelves are original. Antique furniture and accents are spread throughout the house. The widows, doors, bamboo and Tile floors have been updated for 2019. A new paint scheme was also finished in 2019 giving the house a modern clean look. Comfortable and quiet you'll find Wye Escape to be your home away from home.
