Summary: We had a nice two night stay. The property, overlooking the lake, is beautiful. Charming reception area and dining room/ restaurant. The employees were pleasant. Breakfast was delicious. Taking away a star because both nights we had someone traipsing up and down all night in the room above ours. The floors are extremely creaky (understandable given the age of the building) so this meant we were disturbed all night. The reception is not manned at night and we didn't want to call the managerI guess if we went back we could request a top floor room but you can hear people walking around in the hallway outside as well. There was also a large stain on the carpet and sofa that really should be cleaned or otherwise dealt with. Overall a good stay though.
