Summary: It was an excellent place to use as home base for our family of 2 adults, 2 teens, and a bonus teen exchange student! One spacious king size master and one queen size bedroom upstairs with ac units and a full bath upstairs. Downstairs was another bedroom with two twin beds and another full bathroom. Also downstairs included kitchen with full appliances (including coffee maker and microwave), spacious dining area for eating and for board games, cozy living room with couch, armchair, and tv (and small coffee table that can be moved out of the way if you need to get a morning Pilates workout in!), and a laundry room with washer and dryer. Outside areas included front patio chairs, upper balcony lookout, and a backyard firepit - and a trail we didn’t end up getting to since we already did so much hiking this trip to waterfalls in the area! Adequate dishes (could use a few more tupperwares for leftovers), plenty of spare linens and towels, good toilet paper - and they even left a couple of frozen pizzas for our first night there so we didn’t have to scrounge for dinner after a long drive! No ac downstairs but the windows and cool tile actually kept downstairs pretty cool most of the time—we only needed the upstairs on a couple days where it got to 78. Not far from Munising, where we did our grocery shopping and some of our activities (like the sunset Pictured Rocks cruise) started off. This gets a 10 out of 10 from me and I would definitely stay here again!
