Travel Purpose: business

Positive: The setting was very pleasant, quiet, on a lake (although the level of the lake was quite low, leaving an expanse of mud on the shore, but this was no one's fault). There was an EV charging station, some of the cabins had solar panels, the cabin had heat pumps and a water saving toilet. Our cabin had a very nice deck overlooking the lake. Beds were comfortable, water in the shower was hot.

Negative: The cabin was much more "rustic" than I thought it would be. The general impression when you walked in was something from the 1960s. The kitchen didn't have a toaster or microwave, there was not a full complement of silverware and dishes, and no frying pan. The kitchen cabinets did not open smoothly, and some barely opened at all. Wallpaper in other rooms was old and peeling in places, not all beds had top sheets, and some of the blankets were weird weighted blankets, which were way too warm to use. No TV (which was ok, but good to know), and living room just had a loveseat, so seating for just 2 people.

Summary: A pleasant place to stay, once you get over the run-down appearance of the place.
