Forge Brook 1818 is a restored home that was once the site of a 19th-century forge, cutlery and blacksmith shop that operated during the American Revolution by John Bailey and his wife. This forgery produced the most famous silver mounted sword of American origin for General George Washington. Today it is a unique, modern farmhouse right on Main Street in beautiful Fishkill, NY.
